# Send feedback to ReasonOS

> Tell the ReasonOS team what would make the product better for you, and follow what they decide.

You can send a feature request to the ReasonOS team from inside the product.
It works the same in every product, including Documents and QA, and it needs
no extra plan.

## Send a request

1. Open your account menu and choose **Send feedback to ReasonOS**.
2. Give the request a title, then describe what you would like and why. Both
   are required.
3. Optionally, add screenshots or other files: choose **Attach files**, or drop
them onto the dialog. Each one is listed with its size, and you can remove
   any before you send.
4. Choose **Send**, or press <kbd>⌘</kbd>+<kbd>Enter</kbd> (<kbd>Ctrl</kbd>+<kbd>Enter</kbd>
on Windows and Linux) in the description.

Your words and files go together as one request: ReasonOS files both, or
neither. With files, the dialog shows the upload's progress.

The dialog stays open until ReasonOS confirms it has your request. When it
does, it shows **Sent to ReasonOS** with a link to your feedback page.

<Note>
You need to be a member of the organization you are working in. Guests with
view-only access and support sessions can't send feedback.
</Note>

## Follow what happens

**Your account settings → Your feedback** lists the requests you have sent,
newest first, with where each one stands:

| State | Meaning |
| - | - |
| Under consideration | The ReasonOS team has it and hasn't decided yet. |
| Accepted | The team plans to act on it. |
| Declined | The team decided not to act on it. |

Files you sent are listed under their request. Pictures (PNG, JPEG, GIF and
WebP) open in a new tab; every other kind of file downloads. A request's files
are fixed once it is sent: you can't add or remove them afterwards.

Only you see your own requests. Other people in your organization see theirs,
not yours.

## What the ReasonOS team sees

The team sees your title and description, any files you attached, your name,
and your organization's name. They don't see your email address or anything
else from your workspace, such as your projects, issues or other files.
Sending feedback gives the team no access to your organization.

## Limits

* **Twenty requests per organization per day.** The count resets at midnight
UTC. If your organization reaches it, the dialog tells you roughly how many
hours remain. What you wrote stays in the dialog while it is open, so copy
it somewhere if you want to send it another day.
* **Title up to 200 characters, description up to 20,000.**
* **Up to 5 files per request, each up to 25 MB, and 50 MB in all.** The
dialog shows the limits and tells you which file would go over one. Any
kind of file can be attached.

## If something goes wrong

When a send fails, what you wrote and the files you chose stay in the dialog,
including if you close and reopen it. They are not saved anywhere else, so
they are lost if you reload or leave the page.

* If your connection drops before ReasonOS answers, the dialog says it
couldn't confirm whether the request was sent. The request is then fixed:
choose **Send again** to send exactly the same words and files. If the first
attempt arrived, you get that same request back, and no duplicate is
created. To change anything, choose **Start a new request**. The first one
may already have arrived, so check **Your feedback** before sending it
  twice.
* If files can't be accepted right now, because attachment storage is
unavailable or full, the dialog says so and nothing is sent. Your words and
files stay: send later, or remove the files to send your words alone.
* If the dialog says feedback isn't open yet, sending isn't available on
this ReasonOS deployment right now. Try again later.
